W210

The W210 E-Class was produced from 1995 to 2002 as the W210 saloon and the S210 estate. It was the first E-Class with the four-headlight face, and its engine range covers the OM611 and OM613 diesels, the M112 V6 and the M113 V8 used in the E430 and E55 AMG. Rust is the model's well-known weakness, which strongly shapes which parts survive and which are worth buying used.

Because corrosion claims so many W210s, clean body panels, doors, wings, tailgates and bumpers are the parts most in demand, alongside headlights, mirrors, interior trim, and OM613 or M112 engine components. The model is now a modern classic, and owners increasingly restore rather than scrap them.
