This policy explains what personal data RTZ Motors, MB collects through rtzmotors.com, why we collect it, and what rights you have. It covers the features this site actually has.

Who we are

RTZ Motors, MB is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. We are registered in Lithuania under company code 305897642, VAT number LT100016679013, with our registered address at Elektrėnų g. 8, LT-51221 Kaunas, LT.

What data we collect and why

We collect only the data the features below need.

  • Contact form (/contact): your name, an email address or phone number, an optional VIN, and your message. We use these to answer your question.
  • Sell form (/sell): the model, year, engine, mileage, VIN, condition, location, expected price, name, phone, email and message you submit. We use these to assess the car and reply with an offer.
  • Technical data: when you submit a form, our server sees your IP address and uses it only to limit repeated submissions. That IP is not stored beyond a 10-minute window. Our host also keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security for about 30 days.
  • Analytics: only if you accept, Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity record how the site is used, including session replays and heatmaps. Nothing analytics-related loads before you accept.

Recipients and processors

Personal data reaches the recipients below only because they provide one of the features above:

  • Hostinger — hosts the site on servers in Lithuania (EU).
  • Resend — delivers form submissions by email to our company inbox. Resend is a processor based in the EU/US.
  • Our webhook endpoint — receives form submissions directly when it is configured.
  • Google Maps — if you click "Load map", Google serves the map and may set its own cookies.
  • Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd) and Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd) — only after you accept analytics.
  • rrr.lt (Ovoko) — a separate controller. Purchases happen on rrr.lt under its own terms and privacy policy; we do not sell anything on this site.

International transfers

Google and Microsoft may process data outside the EEA, including in the United States. Those transfers rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep data

We keep personal data only as long as we need it:

  • Inquiries and offers — up to 12 months after our last contact, then deleted.
  • Purchase contracts — kept longer where a purchase contract requires accounting records. Lithuanian accounting law requires these for 10 years.
  • Analytics — for each provider's default period. Google Analytics 4 keeps data for 14 months.
  • Rate-limiting IP addresses — at most 10 minutes.
  • Server logs — about 30 days.

Cookies and local storage

This site sets no first-party cookies of its own. It stores one flag in your browser's local storage:

  • rtz-consent — remembers your cookie choice. You can change that choice at any time with "Cookie settings" in the footer.
  • If you accept analytics, the providers set their own cookies — Google Analytics uses _ga and _ga_*; Microsoft Clarity uses _clck, _clsk and CLID. Clicking "Load map" lets Google Maps set its own cookies.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can use the rights below. To do so, email info@rtzmotors.com. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the State Data Protection Inspectorate (VDAI), L. Sapiegos g. 17, LT-10312 Vilnius, https://vdai.lrv.lt.

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • have your data erased;
  • restrict processing or object to it;
  • receive your data in a portable format;
  • withdraw your consent to analytics at any time.

Children

This site is not directed at people under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you think a child has sent us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we publish the new version here and update the date at the top.
