W251

The W251 R-Class was a large luxury MPV built from 2005 to 2013, with the V251 long-wheelbase version offered in some markets. It shares much of its platform with the W164 ML-Class, including 4MATIC all-wheel drive. Diesel versions use the OM642 V6, while petrol models run the M272 V6; the R63 AMG, built in very small numbers, used the 6.2-litre AMG V8.

The R-Class sells in small numbers, which makes used body parts genuinely hard to find, so headlights, tail lights, mirrors, bumpers and sliding or folding interior components are the pieces owners ask for most. Airmatic suspension components and OM642 turbos and injectors are also common.
